The TikTok Dashboard for Screen time will showcase how many hours are being spent on the platform with summarized reports on aspects such as daily total usage and the number of times the TikTok mobile was opened amongst others. TikTok users also have the chance to opt in for weekly reminders to review their Dashboard in order to monitor and manage their TikTok experience.

Users can also input certain time periods when the TikTok mobile app will remind users to take a screen break following a session of uninterrupted screen time. The default setting for reminders is set at 10, 20 or 30 minutes and the notifications can be snoozed or turned off as required.

TikTok users between the ages of 13 and 17 who end up spending over 100 minutes on the TikTok app within a single day will now get a reminder about the new screen time limit tools the next time they open the TikTok mobile app.
