The schedule for CAT 2022 is out. The notification along with other required details was released on 31st July 2022. The application process is on and eligible candidates can submit the application form by 14 September 2022.
It can be filled out online by visiting the official website of IIM Bangalore. IIM Bangalore is the conducting body of CAT 2022. Every year one of the IIMs in India conducts this exam on a rotation basis. Candidates willing to appear in the exam can select the exam center out of 150 exam centers to write the exam.
The application form can be filled by going through the different stages such as registration, filling details in the application form, uploading the necessary documents, fee payment, and final submission. After filing the application form, candidates should take the printout of the application form for future reference. The application form must be filled with the correct details otherwise it might get rejected. Candidates should not wait for the last moment in order to avoid the last-minute hassle.
The question paper shall comprise Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). There will be a total of sixty-six questions. Multiple choice questions, as well as non-multiple choice questions, will be asked in the examination. Candidates have to answer all the questions in the stipulated time which is 120 minutes. For each right answer, three marks will be awarded. On the other hand, for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. Candidates will be able to access one section for fourty minutes only.

The syllabus comprises topics of Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The topics of Quantitative Ability are Number Systems, Geometry and Mensuration, Arithmetic, Algebra, and Modern Mathematics. For Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, the important topics are Radar charts, Bar Graphs, Venn diagrams, Pie charts, Scatter plots, Line charts, Column Graphs, etc. Odd One Out, Para Summary, Reading Comprehension, etc. are the important topics under Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section.
